End child poverty, for every child

1 in 3 children living in deep poverty are migrant children. That's not a coincidence. Hostile immigration rules drive migrant families into poverty at a disproportionate rate.

No child in the UK should be living in poverty, their parents unable to put food on the table and keep the house warm.

Right now, the Government is writing their child poverty strategy. Let's make it clear that they must protect EVERY child from poverty, including migrant children. Add your name now.

Right now, 4 million people in the UK - including at least half a million children - are denied access to a safety net. This is because of a policy called No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF), it impacts almost every migrant family in the UK. This means that they are blocked from accessing Universal Credit, Child Benefit or any of the other benefits explicitly designed to protect families from poverty, even in a crisis.

To end child poverty, this government must scrap NRPF. Every day we see how it pushes families to the brink and into real hardship. Finally ending NRPF is not just about tackling the soaring levels of poverty in the UK. It's a matter of dignity.
