Tell us why you're coming to the Mass Lobby for Migrant Rights in Parliament!

We want to hear your story.

This Government is introducing the biggest overhaul to the immigration system in half a century. Permanent settlement will no longer be an immigration status secured after a given time in the UK. Instead, migrants and refugees will have to continually "earn" their right to stay in a new conditional system that echoes far-right notions of belonging.

We know around 1.3 million people will be personally impacted by the proposed changes and even more will have friends and family who will be. We know that people across the UK are outraged.

Tell us your story. Share why you're speaking up and joining the mass lobby.

Your message will help us to understand the huge spectrum of reasons for why the mass lobby is so important. It'll help us show just how many people will be impacted, from all walks of life.

We'll be sharing these messages with people on and offline.

  • Cruelty to immigrants is not what I stand for. We must get back to the compassionate terms again before it is too late. Burak Batuhan K 10.03.2026 21:10
  • I have lived in the UK for six years, and while I understand that policies and circumstances change, I am increasingly concerned about how migrant nurses are being affected by decisions made in Parliament. Many of these challenges have been highlighted through testimonies at the RCN Congress. Migrant nurses need support and encouragement from the government so we can continue providing the highest standard of care to our patients while also ensuring that our rights and contributions are respected. • I am coming to.see my MP as I don't feel the government is listening to the majority of people of my country. They are being sucked in by popularity media and bully boy tactics of the far right. Elaine E 09.03.2026 23:23
  • I am from a Jewish family of immigrants who settled in this country in the early 20th century. I want others now to also have the opportunity to contribute to our society. We need their skills and the richness that such diversity brings. Irene W 09.03.2026 16:35
